At Be the Doula, I am dedicated to supporting pregnant women and their families every step of the way - from prenatal care to labor and delivery, through postpartum. I have been trained and offer emotional support, positioning for the laboring mother, lactation support, and postpartum care. To book my services, there is a $500 down payment when we sign the contract, with the other $500 due at 37 weeks gestation. My services include 2-4 prenatal visits (clients choice) in person or over the phone lasting from 1-2 hrs. In these visits, we will cover what is going on inside you with baby, making sure you are feeling emotionally stable, prepping you for mentally for labor and delivery, and helping you create your birth plan. I am on call for your birth 24/7 at 38 weeks gestation until you deliver. I typically come to you when you are in active labor, but I recognize not only is each person is different, but also each birth different. If you are needed comfort or emotional support in your early labor, I will be there for you, whether that's virtually or physically. After delivery, I will stay 1-2 hours, or until you feel comfortable and settled. When you are postpartum, visits are up to you! We can book 1 -2 postpartum visits/phone calls where we can process your birth as well as the new changes your family is going through. If desired, I will bring a cooked-from-scratch meal to your home with the postpartum visit! We can stay in contact as much as you desire - feel free to text me anytime postpartum!
